Contribute to the planning, development, communication, implementation, and evaluation of technology-infused strategic plans at the district and school levels
During learning in the Seattle Pacific University Digital Educational Leadership Master’s Degree program, I had a coursework of Digital Readiness Project in which I had an opportunity to evaluate a 1:1 computing program for an international school.
When I evaluated this program, I collected data by interviewing the school’s IT director to understand the strategic plans made for this program and compared the differences happened in the 10 years by analyzing the data provided by the school administrators. I also focused on collecting data from teachers to understand their needs on technology integration. During the evaluation, I can see the strategic plans are good for keeping the program meeting the original goals which had been set by school administrators 10 years ago. And depending on teachers’ needs, I provided recommendations that can help school administrators to improve this program in future planning.
